Fill the quiet nights

Member SMS pushes, geo-fenced wallet alerts and an editorial calendar designed to move bookings to your softest covers — Tuesdays, pre-theatre, Sunday brunch overflow.

Reach the right diners

Lagos’s most considered audience, vetted at the door. Average member ticket sits at ₦42,000+ — they come for the food and they come back.

Marketing in your corner

Editorial features, social production, SMS and email — built and run by us. Your team keeps doing what they do best: cooking and serving.

The Taste Naija team — Lagos hospitality operators
The team behind Taste Naija

Built by the people who ran Taste Nigeria.

Between 2014 and 2017 we ran the country’s first independent hospitality marketing programme — partner to Sheraton Lagos, Radisson Blu Anchorage, Four Points by Sheraton, MTN Premier and Airtel Premier, with collections handled by Sterling Bank.

Eight years on, the diners have grown up, the rooms have changed, and the technology has finally caught up with the idea. The same operators are back — quieter, more focused, and built for now.

How it works

Discreet, operationally seamless.

No POS integration. No new hardware. The host sees the member on their existing iPad. The kitchen sees a normal cover. The accountant gets one statement at month end.

We sold the Tuesday seven o’clock for the first time in two years.

Selassie wanted Tuesday and Wednesday filled without doing what every other restaurant in Lagos does — which is post a 30%-off story on Instagram and watch the Saturday regulars eat for less. Member rate is 15% off the food bill, never the wine. Word of mouth did the rest.

Sunday brunch went from a hopeful idea to a fact of the calendar.

A 20% member rate on brunch covers and an editor’s feature in The Issue moved the needle in a single weekend. Members brought partners, partners brought parents, and the kitchen had its first 80-cover Sunday since 2019.

Questions

Honest answers, in advance.

Nothing upfront. Nothing monthly. No commission on the bill. The exchange is the member discount itself — typically 15–25% off the food bill — in return for a marketing programme you would otherwise pay an agency for. If we don't deliver members, you owe us nothing.

72 hours from signed venue agreement to live listing. Photography is the longest step; if you have existing assets we use those, otherwise we shoot the room and the plates over a single evening service.

Premium and aspirational rooms in Lagos — fine dining, considered casual, hotel restaurants, and the better neighbourhood spots. We curate carefully because our members curate carefully. Half the venues we speak to we don't take on. The 20-minute call answers it.

You can pause anytime — for a night, a week, or indefinitely. The dashboard has a one-click pause. We don't argue, we don't gate, we don't make it complicated.

Open the merchant app on any phone or your existing iPad. Scan the member's QR code. Apply the listed discount. Take the payment as normal. The whole flow is under five seconds. No POS integration; no new hardware.

QR codes rotate every 60 seconds, geo-fencing rejects scans from outside the venue, and member visits are throttled per venue per day. If a card is being misused, you flag it in the dashboard and we revoke. Fraud is rare; we built the rails carefully.

Yes — at the aggregate level. You see member tier, frequency and spend bands; you don't see private personal details unless a member opts to share them. NDPR-compliant from the first visit.
